The 2024 National Brass Band Champions of Great Britain present a spellbinding evening of uplifting music.

The band makes its Snape Maltings debut with a wide-ranging programme including classic brass-band numbers and new arrangements. There is music by Dvořák, Bliss, and Ivor Novello Award winner Gavin Higgins, plus familiar hits from stage and screen.

The band will compete at The British Open Brass Band Championships, one of the most prestigious brass band competitions in the world.

In 2024, the band achieved 2nd place, our highest ever result at the event.

Flowers Band are National Champions 2024, four times French Open Champions and won the Audience Prize at Brass in Concert 2024. With an international reputation for musical excellence they will represent England at the 2026 European Championships in Linz, Austria.

Paul Holland is in demand as conductor and adjudicator throughout Europe.

In 2024 Flowers Band were in concert as part of the 2024 British Bandsman Concert Series: Reading, an evening that will live long in the memory and within the programme was 'Harrison's Dream' (Peter Graham), one week later the band took to the stage at The Royal Albert Hall and were awarded 1st place and the title of 'National Champions of Great Britain'.

The British Bandsman and Flowers Band are delighted to bring another concert to Reading, the concert will include the 2025 National Finals piece 'Symphony in Two Movements' (Edward Gregson) and how great would it be if lightning can strike twice…

The band will compete at The National Championships of Great Britain as defending champions.
